Venue: Rimouski, Canada (to be confirmed by UQAR)

Participants: 1) Members of the Credit Transfer Group (one administrative staff from the

                     Graduate School of each member institute, to be discussed and nominated

                     later in January)

                  2) Members of the Academic Group (Professors in Marine Sciences from each

                      member institute, to be discussed and nominated later in January)

 

Topic for Discussion: IAMRI's Action on Climate Change

 

Items:

1)To discuss and approve the joint program of marine-related data sharing

2)To discuss the work plan of the Academic Group

3)To discuss and approve the mutually recognized credit system

4)To discuss the work plan of the Credit Transfer Group

5)To introduce the Sino-German Initiative on Marine Sciences (a joint master program in both

  oceanography and fisheries between OUC and Bremen University) to other IAMRI members.

6)To discuss the potential relation of IAMRI with IOC
