Suez Canal University Delegation visits Ocean University of China

On March 22, 2006, Prof. Yu Yifa, the Vice President of Ocean University of China, met with the delegation of Egyptian Suez Canal University at OUC.Yu Yifa expressed his warm welcome to the delegation of Suez Canal University led by Prof. Ali El Zayat, Vice President of Suez Canal University before he briefed them on OUC's enrollment, faculties and the set-up of the colleges and campuses.
Yu said that the meeting with his delegation would promote the understanding, communication and collaboration between the two universities, particularly in marine life science, a field of common interests of both institutions.
Ali Ibrahim El-sayed El-zayat said that he felt honored to have the chance to visit OUC. When giving a brief introduction to the Suez Canal University, he said that both China and Egypt boast splendid ancient civilizations. The purpose of his visit is to step up the collaboration with OUC, especially in fishery science.
On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation of Suez Canal University had a talk with some faculty members and students of the College of Fishery Science. They also visited the fishery laboratories on OUC's Yushan Campus and the Teaching and Research Base for Life Science and Technology at Aoshanwei, a suburban town of Qingdao City
