College of continuing education of OUC was established in 1959, it is an early university to run adult higher education. Our university was honored excellent university by evaluation of former national educational commission in 1997. And awarded advanced institute of Shandong adult education in 2000, also won the advanced institute of Shandong teaching and research in 2003.
Until now, the college of continuing education has cultivated more than 10000 graduates (including undergraduates and specialties) for the development of Shandong province and Qingdao. Around 2000 graduates were given bachelor degree. We are the first university to propose credit system for adult higher education in Shandong province in 2002. After the experts' demonstration, with the ratification of Shandong Provincial Education Department, the credit system has been carried out from the grade 2003 students.
