The College offers three Ph.D. programs and three Master’s Degree programs in Environmental Sciences and Environmental Engineering as well as a post-doctoral training station in Environmental Sciences and Engineering. The College owns one key laboratory of the State Ministry of Education in the fields of Environmental Science and Ecology, and two provincial key disciplines as Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering. The College now has two professors of Cheung Kong Scholars Programs, one academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, two academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and 19 Ph.D. supervisors.

Department of Environmental Science
    Focuses on Marine Environmental Sciences, especially on Marine and Atmospheric Environmental Dynamics, Marine Biogeochemistry and Biological Recovery.

Department of Environmental Engineering
    Focuses on Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control, especially on Hydrological Engineering, Geological Disaster, Contaminated Soil Remediation and Waster Water Treatment.
